Intro to NEC3 - Clarity & Simplicity Under the NEC3

This course gives an overview of how the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) achieves its objective of clarity and simplicity.

After completing this course you will be able to:

1. Understand some of the key terminology used in the contract and the key documents that form part of the contract.
2. Explain the typical structure of an NEC3 contract and in particular of the ECC.
3. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the Project Manager and Supervisor roles and how an individual should act to be in accordance with the contract.
4. Appreciate how NEC3 achieves its objective of Clarity and Simplicity.
