This course provides an overview of design liabilities in construction and provides an overview of some of the factors a court will take into account in deciding whether or not a designer is in breach of legal obligations.
After studying this course, you should be able to:-
1. Explore the distinction between design and construction, and the nature of design and its complexity.
2. List the responsibility for design, design management, design duties in law, standard of liability, duration of liability, techniques and materials, and the compliance with statutory requirements.
