NEC4 ECS Contractor Submission Template

Use this free downloadable template to help you create a Contractor Submission under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Subcontract (ECS).

The ECS requires the Contractor to make a handful of submissions to the Subcontractor on various matters that arise during the course of a construction project. The ECS goes a step further than most traditional contracts by requiring the Subcontractor to not only respond to a submission, but to respond with reasons.

You can use this NEC4 ECS template for a Contractor’s submission of the following:

• Submit under clause 36.1 a proposal of an acceleration to achieve Completion before the Completion Date
• Submit under clause 86.1 for acceptance insurance certificates for insurances taken out by the Contractor (period for reply is period for reply)
